My story

I’m a project manager, digital marketing specialist, photographer and graphic designer. For me, the most important abilities in project management are to organize and communicate as well as being creative. These help me to lead teams, create successful marketing strategies and campaigns as well as give the best customer experience.

I was born in Finland but grew up in Kenya, Nairobi. I went to a Swedish speaking elementary school in Finland and graduated from high school in the United States. After high school, I got interested in business and marketing. So I decided to attend Helsinki Business College, which I graduated from in 2015. From there on, I’ve gained experience through different work places. These have included an interior design company, a concert and event venue, an advertisement company, a mobile device repair service, and a marketing company.

As for educating myself even more, I started studying cultural management at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. The purpose of my thesis was to find cost-effective and competitive solutions for increasing consumer sales for Pelaaja Magazine. The study consisted of success factors for a magazine, methods for successful sales and marketing, and information on gamers as a target group. The results provided tangible examples of inbound marketing methods. You can read my thesis here (in Finnish). I graduated in December 2020 as a Bachelor of Culture and Arts.

Now I work as a Digital Marketing Specialist in a marketing agency, WDS Oy, and get to combine all my skills in marketing, project management, photography as well as graphic design to create fun and amazing advertisements and campaigns. Nevertheless, I always like to develop my skill set as well as continuously learn new things. That’s why I’m always excited about new collaboration opportunities and challenges!
